wrightflyer1903,

No. We would just replace it while under warranty. Is yours under warranty?

No it's 2 years old.

It seems the 24 suffers from this issue. You will need to turn the power button slightly to get it to operate. This is caused by a small plastic part holding the button in position breaking.

If you do a search on my forum name you should come across a thread explaining the problem and how to fix it. Something along the lines of "once you find the correct position for the button, place a piece of selotape over it to stop it rotating".

As Slammer99uk said - The Power button does not work if the button turns right of left more than 5 degrees. If under warranty, get the monitor replaced by Dell. If out of warranty,  take a clear piece of tape and stick it over the button (I pointed to noon) to keep it from rotating.

I had that happen on a 1901.  In my case, I fidled with the housing and it snapped back into place...though I was preparred to relace it if it didn't work!  Needless to say, I'm a bit more careful with how I push it now, though I haven't had any other issues.
